Ok, college sucks so far. It was going well... but now that I've moved to the eleventh floor of a unair-conditioned building (I think I could actually get used to it) I've started to hate it. The main reason is the cock bites that are slamming their fucking doors. I don't know who the fuck they are but it is starting to make me homicidal. Motherfucking bastards...
While I could get used to the heat up here... Murphy can't. Even with the four fans can't save him now. So I've gone ahead and turned him off. I only turn him on when I need something, which has so far been music. I was trying to get on Talam's page with Darkman... and well I had to turn him on, turn him off (because he was being a bitch), and wait for him to load up. As he loaded I turned on Murphy, logged on, and turned off Damain tools. On Darkman I started to connect to the wireless internet here, and it complained about needing a password (or something like that). So I closed that window and started the process over again. By this time Murphy had already woken up to the point that I could get on the internet without too much lag or whatever. I had tried to open Firefox on Darkman but it didn't seem to want to open. So I more or less beat a brand new computer with something that is... old? I don't know, Murphy seems old. There are things that Darkman has against it: Windows Vista, being a laptop (does that count), having a wireless connection is defiantly one of them. Neh, I thought it was slightly amusing anyways.
My parents dragged my ass up to Bloomington on Sunday. In the process we went to Barnes and Nobles. Sweet. I was disappointed in what I could get in the manga section. They had removed what looked like over half of their inventory. This might be related to the fact that Tokyopop is going bankrupt, or so I've heard. So I looked through the manga that was left. The only thing that I could find worth while was the fourth (technically the second part of the Cotton Drifting Arc, which is also the second arc) Higurashi no Naku Koro ni manga. I wish I had the other three with me. If I did I could at least remember how well those went with the anime. There, of course, are somethings that don't appear in the anime that they do in the manga. This can only mean that there are things being left out of both the anime and manga from the game. Which means that I need the game to fully understand some of the things in them... and it sure as hell isn't going to be over here, the U.S., anytime soon. Which sucks... I can't wait until the other volumes of the manga come out though. I really loved this one (despite knowing what was going to happen) but since there where things that were different, it made it all the better reading it. Man, I really wish I had the other three. The manga appears to depict the anime in a darker, and a bit more twisted, way. Of course that isn't a bad thing, but damn how different are they?
