I think I am going to start doing weekly updates. :) - Misc
Posted on: 2006-01-29 23:55:33

Yeah, ok, so another week with no updates. EQ has me by the balls, and I know it, but it is not like my life is all that exciting anyways...is it? Anyways, the non-EQ week recap in no order: I spent most of my first class this week (Science of Color) doing totally unrelated work while they had class. I got to help setup a really expensive printer in the graphics lab (printer=$6k, cartridges = $100 each...it has 8). I also painted some tiles and did some reading for Color. In Photoshop, I got 105% on my quiz (think I was one of only a couple to), and spent the rest of the time doing homework that was due that day. Illustrator, the next day, was likewise spent doing homework that was supposed to be turned in at the begining of class...took me and the rest of the class about 5 hours to do it all. In Art History, I decided to do a compare contrast paper between zuggurat and the pyramids...exciting, and I got at least an 86% on my quiz for that class. I sat out of DnD this week, kind of a really wanted to stop for a while but only now have another addiction (EQ) to step into (which I did not play while sitting out). Not sure how long that will last, or if it will stop, but it was a nice change.

So, for the EQ week recap: Um, my necro is 38 now, which I think is about 8-10 levels higher than I was on my last post. I have now over taken all but one of my previous characters, and I am sure I will over take that one by the weekend. He is 40, so it should be easy. I have spent an inordinate amount of time and platinum on research (research = optional skill for casters). My skill is now almost 130. I am spending between 400 and 900 plat a day on it, which since that is about how much I make a day, I am not building up my cash flow. But then, there really isn't anything I want either, so who cares? Things are starting to slow down a bit, which is good. That leaves more time for homework. :)

Ah, D&D is like a gypsy... Traveling to and fro, but she always comes back around because she is a hoe...

I am happy to see that you do your homework and studying without any prodding on my part. If I can't be responsible enough for my own grading and thesis, how can I be expected to keep track of my grown husband's assignments? That being said, I'll nag you to death if you need me too. ^_^

Maybe voluntary abstinence makes the heart grow fonder, but involuntary just saddens me.

Ding, congrats!

Good deal on the school work. What do they do with that expensive printer anyways? I doubt they are letting kids print off lab reports and papers on it.
