We have semi-accurate time now!! - Site News

This was more of a test than anything, but I sorta implemented the beginings of the new time stuff I should have done several years ago. I say semi-accurate and sorta implemented because everything is on the current time, even the stuff that should not be, like the stuff before we switched timezones. Also, provided I don't fix it before the DST switch comes around again (which given my track record for changes on some things here it just might) all the times will stay on DST or drop DST. I have yet to add the logic for rantfest to do it itself. I need to figure out just how much I am going to need to rewrite before I jump on that. There are a couple of other changes I had been planning on that this would affect and I don't have as much time as I used to to spend between doing nothing and coding (I like to keep it to a 10:1 ratio of wasted time versus coding at most). I do think that I am just going to make this a from here on out kinda thing and not worry about adjusting the 'before Indiana changed how it handles time zones and lost the respect of most of the people who live in the state' time change. I also have no plans on switching the times for me and the wife's 'Before the Move' stuff since it is all accurate pre-Indiana time zone maddness and viewed with different code than all the new content.
