I love Internet Explorer. - Computer

I am at the cross browser checking stage on a site design and was messing in Internet Explorer 7 (and realizing that I don't have IE6 installed anywhere). But I got to looking at the interface, more specifically the menu area.

I don't like arrows, so I decided to shrink it up a little, and take out the text. Almost a third of that is text, I figured there would be enough room for the last two icons to show so there would be no need for the arrows.

Ok, that did not work. So I took out 'Page' and 'Research' in an effort to trim it down.

Well, that did not work either...lets take it down to two icons. Surely the area that held five icons and some text could hold two, right?

Going down one fixed it, but I kinda want more than one icon. So I started adding them back in. For whatever reason I started an icon at a time and noticed this:

Yup, two icons with no arrows. The next addition popped the arrows back up. It seems that if I go down to one, adding a single icon won't bring the arrows back. I have figured out that if I unlock the toolbar, I can manually expand the area to get rid of the arrows, but it still seems like odd behavior to me.

Just so I can get this bad joke in before Dad.

If you mess with arrows too long you're liable to poke out your eye. (bad luagh) Uggg... that was bad.... Anyways I don't have the problem then again mine is always in full screen. (alt F11) Well have fun without the arrows.

I probably never would have noticed.

...because I use Opera. However, when working on web design it is prudent to check in all the major browsers since they all behave differently.

Ahhh...

Makes sense. Well have fun with the arrows again.

I'm suprised Rook didn't offer to lend you our bow so you could shoot your arrows.

Bad, bad, bad.

You two (Dad and Rook) are just bad when it comes to bad jokes. I can't say much though; my friends accuse me of the same thing! ^_^

It runs in the family....

All I can say now is that bad jokes run in the family. :)
