The End of Times...at least for Terre Haute - Work - NaNoWriMo - The Move
Posted on: 2007-12-02 15:04:19

It looks like we are free. With exception of a couple of bills, we are done with Terre Haute...at least as far as obligations go. Our rental company has finally rented our apartment, so no more money is going to them. So we just have the dregs of bills from the utility places and we can focus entirely on the new place. This should also net us more a month here, which is good because I am not making quite as much as I thought I would be (I kind of expected another $50-150 a paycheck, since it is the holiday season, and holiday season normally means busy in retail).

Oh well, I am off to stand around for about 3 hours wondering where all the customers are hiding.

Oh, and I did horribly on NaNoWriMo. Only got about 12k words, but I did at least get a good foundation and rough outline for the story, so I can keep working.

"This job would be great if it wasn't for the fucking customers." Then again I don't have a job... Neh...

I'm using Dad's excuse about the writer's strike for NaNoWriMo.

There's always next year.

I think your van is ready. I was driving by your mechanics and I saw it in the lot.

Not quite.
