I am rather pleased with how things appear to be working. I decided this was the day I was going to get mobile posting working again, and it is better than it was. Technically, it wasn't broken (address on our phones was wrong, I have too many domains). After correcting that simple error, there was the 'problem' with image size. This had been a non-issue with our Sony phones, they had an option to resize the images being sent to something a little more friendly. On our Centros, once you have the image, you are stuck with the image. So the resizing would have to be at the server, or an after-the-fact manual edit. Putting the resize bit in there took minutes, very easy.

But then I figured, I was in the code already, why not do more. The wife is always doing these multiple post sprees where she is showing off pics of stuff. I tended to avoid it because I like everything together...ish. Our Sony phones didn't do multi-picture messages (that I know of, at least), so there was thing nothing I could do about it. But our new ones can, they are smart phones after all. So I dove back into the code and made the script handle multi-picture messages. The wife didn't like it. You would have your images, then your body of text at the bottom, and she liked her captions for each image...which makes sense. So I dove back in trying to make that work, which is what I have been doing for the last three hours. And it is done. I am extremely pleased with it, and I hope she will be as well. Oh, and somewhere in there I changed up the posts titles if there is a subject line in the text...OK, texts don't have subjects, but MMSs can, and so do emails.

I have a couple more changes I might do this weekend that center around this script. I still want to be able to reply to a comment on a post via a text message, and I know exactly how I want to do it now. Once that is done, basic commands would be a logical next step, and would follow an almost identical vein of coding.
