It might be slightly premature, but the NaNoWriMo stat boxes are on the sites. It might be a bit glitchy between now and Nov.1 since the NaNo people tend to do major work on the page prior to launch, but I am hoping that it will be fine after that...it worked fine last year. I also looked over their API, and I might do a daily progress box as well. It would show the totals at the end of each day of the month as opposed to simply showing the total. It might happen, might not, we will see.
Progress on the actual story: I have notes for 10-11 chapters, technically 4 of which are going to be less than one page letters, but still, its progress. I have a way more solid idea where I am going with Anne's story, and I know how I want to begin and end Gibson's story...just not sure about the middle part at all. I am also fleshing out Neal's role in the world, and it is far larger than I had ever intended. But in the end, I think it is a good thing. It is either opening the way for a possibly third book, or it will let me fill out the end of this one. I am hoping more for sequel, since I like the ideas I currently have for the end of this story.
Well, it is 3AM, I have not touched my notes at all today, and I am suddenly overtaken by an urge to write about elves and vampires. Not really sure why the vampires are in my head, maybe because I was looking at Halloween pics earlier...there won't be any vampires in my story, but I am not sure about the elves.
