Introducing my newly painted TIE Interceptor. The wife had purchased it for me some time ago, and mentioned putting it together for me since I always sucked with models. It then sat on top of my computer and was totally forgotten by both of us until a couple of days ago. I pulled it down, broke out all the pieces, and started going through the instructions. To be fair, this is a skill level 2 model, so 10 year olds should be able to build it, so it is not like it was hard at all. The only thing hard about it was the paint guide, which listed colors from A to K, then marked the model with colors from A to Z, mostly M to Z. So I totally ignore the guide and spray painted the whole thing red, black, and silver. I vaguely modeled it after the Royal Guard TIE from SWG's RotW expansion (I loved that little ship). The RG TIE had a lot more silver on it, but I guess that is what I get for not bothering to look up any pictures before I started. Doesn't matter, I like my new little TIE.
